October 1- Wolf Creek Ski Area: Early Snowfall
Mother Nature decided to cover Pagosa Springs, Colorado, with a 20-inch snow-storm leaving an all-natural snow base of 14 inches out on the slopes, which allowed for Wolf Creek Ski Area to open early. Wolf Creek Ski Area exceptionally welcomes enthusiastic guests as early as the second weekend in October, making them the first to begin the year’s ski season. The Wolf Creek Ski Area will be open for their second earliest on weekends only until conditions allow for full-time operation.
